Territory Sales Engineer

As a Territory Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and market development efforts. You will be based in different states and responsible for developing the local market, coordinating with customers, and working closely with dealers within your assigned state to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Market Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our market presence within your designated state.
  • Identify potential customers, industries, and opportunities for sales growth.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and technical support to customers.

Dealer Coordination:

  • Collaborate with dealers and distributors within the state to drive sales and maintain a strong dealer network.
  • Provide training and support to dealers to ensure they are well-equipped to represent our products effectively.

Sales Targets:

  • Set and achieve sales targets and objectives as defined by the company.
  • Monitor and report on sales progress, market trends, and competition.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to customers and dealers.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences.
  • Provide feedback to the company on market dynamics and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Sales).
  • Previous experience in sales engineering, territory sales, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory/state.
  • Understanding of technical products and the ability to explain their features to customers.
