As a Senior R&D Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding and executing research and development efforts within your assigned division. Your primary responsibilities include product optimization, leveraging expertise in digital/embedded systems, and reverse engineering competitor products to enhance our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Guided Research and Development:
- Collaborate with the R&D Head to plan, lead, and execute R&D projects.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members in research activities.
Product Optimization:
- Lead the optimization of existing products to improve their performance, reliability, and functionality.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to make our products more competitive.
Digital/Embedded Systems Expertise:
- Demonstrate excellent expertise in digital and embedded systems used in our products.
- Apply advanced knowledge to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to innovative product development.
Reverse Engineering:
- Analyze and reverse engineer competitor products to gain insights into their design, technology, and functionality.
- Use this knowledge to inform our own product development and competitive strategies.
Documentation:
- Maintain meticulous records of research findings, experiments, and development activities.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering).
- Several years of experience in R&D, preferably in a leadership role.
